Palmetto Hall sits adjacent to the Hampton Inn, making the morning logistics simple. Arthur Hills and Spencer Holt designed the course in 1991 through heavily wooded terrain, and the forested corridors provide a contrast to the marsh and water landscapes of the previous two days.
Check out and drive to SAV for departure. For groups with a late flight, a morning stop at Crescent Pointe Golf Club in Bluffton ($34 to $74) adds a fifth round at the lowest green fee in the area.
The Hampton Inn provides the most practical base: adjacent to Palmetto Hall, positioned near the bridge for mainland course access, and priced with free breakfast that eliminates one meal cost per day.
