The Inn at Spanish Bay sits at the northern end of 17-Mile Drive, roughly four miles and ten minutes from The Lodge at Pebble Beach, and provides the same advance tee time access at meaningfully lower rates.
269 rooms with ocean, forest, and course views, the ocean-facing units overlooking the Spanish Bay coastline. Rooms start at 470 square feet, slightly smaller than The Lodge but consistent with the resort's five-star positioning. Pool, fitness centre, tennis courts, and multiple restaurants on site. The daily bagpiper at sunset remains the property's signature tradition, performing on the grounds each evening.
The Spanish Bay course, which the Inn directly overlooks, is closed from March 18, 2026, for approximately 13 months of renovation work. During the closure the Inn continues to operate, but on-site golf convenience is reduced; you'll drive to Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill, or Poppy Hills for rounds. Resort shuttle service connects The Inn to The Lodge and other Pebble Beach Resorts facilities. Complimentary 17-Mile Drive access for guests.
$600 to $1,400 per night, a saving of $400 to $500 over comparable rooms at The Lodge. Over a three-night stay, that difference can approach $1,500, enough to cover a round at Spyglass Hill. For groups whose primary goal is playing the courses with the accommodation as a comfortable base, The Inn is the better value within the resort system.
