Sea Pines Resort offers more than 400 rental villas and homes across the 5,000-acre community at the southern tip of Hilton Head Island.

The property

Inventory runs from one-bedroom condos near the marina through multi-bedroom villas in the forest interior to full homes with private pools. The 5,000-acre community includes 40-plus miles of bike trails, beaches, Harbour Town Marina with its restaurants and shops, and the Harbour Town Lighthouse. The $9 gate fee for non-residents does not apply to registered guests.

What to expect

The draw is access. As a Sea Pines guest you receive preferred tee time access to Harbour Town Golf Links, Heron Point, and Atlantic Dunes. For golf groups building a trip around the Sea Pines courses, a villa rental is the most cost-effective and logistically simple base. A two-bedroom villa split four ways brings per-person lodging to $50 to $125 per night, competitive with mid-range hotels but with kitchen facilities, a shared living space, and no daily gate fees.
