Pin itDowntown Traverse City hotel with bay views, rooftop dining, and a central position between the region's golf courses and restaurant corridor.
$130–$220/night
Booking via Expedia
A 140-room downtown Traverse City hotel with bay views, a rooftop restaurant, and a position right on Front Street.
The Park Place sits on Front Street, the spine of Traverse City's dining and nightlife corridor. From the rooftop you get the bay; from the front door you get the restaurants. Grand Traverse Resort is six miles east, and Arcadia Bluffs is roughly 35 miles southwest. There is no on-site golf, which is the point.
This is a town base, not a resort campus. Expect a workable mid-range room, a pool, and a fitness centre. The real amenity is what sits outside: Front Street's farm-to-table kitchens and Great Lakes fish counters have evolved into a serious scene, and you can walk to most of it. If your itinerary involves driving to a different course each day, you avoid the resort lock-in and trade it for a town to come back to in the evening.
$130 to $220 per night, which puts the Park Place squarely in the mid-range tier for the region. Book direct through the hotel or via the link on this page. The downtown position justifies the rate for golfers who would rather end the day in a restaurant than at a clubhouse bar.
