Grove Cottages

The property

Grove Cottages are the largest lodging units at Bandon Dunes: four bedrooms apiece, each with a king bed and private bath, plus a shared living room. They sit in the forest portion of the property, set back from the central buildings, and they are sold as group bookings rather than per-room nightly rates. The shuttle connects you to Bandon Dunes, Pacific Dunes, Bandon Trails, Old Macdonald, Sheep Ranch, the Punchbowl, Bandon Preserve, and Shorty's.

What to expect

This is the lodging for a group trip, not a couple's weekend. The forest setting gives you seclusion the Lodge cannot match, and the shared living room becomes the nineteenth hole: post-round analysis, planning the next morning's draw, the long unhurried conversations that justify flying to a remote stretch of the Oregon coast in the first place. Full resort amenities apply, so you get the same dining rooms, pro shops, and practice facilities as guests in the central lodging.

Rates and booking

Individual nightly rates are not published; pricing is structured around the group booking and divides across four to eight players. For groups of that size who want private accommodation rather than the shared atmosphere of the Lodge, the Grove Cottages are the obvious choice.
