The only meaningful drive is the 30-minute hop to Circling Raven on Day 2, and the return positions you for the afternoon cruise. A rental car is necessary for the Circling Raven round and the airport transfers. The resort's concierge handles tee time coordination at both courses.
Two nights is enough for the two courses that matter most, the lake from the water, and the downtown that gives this place its character. It isn't enough for The Idaho Club and Sandpoint, which is exactly the argument for the Bucket List version.
