A rental car is essential. Paiute is 35 to 40 minutes from the Strip, and TPC Las Vegas is 20 minutes northwest. Both drives pass through open desert worth observing rather than treating as dead time. Marriott's Grand Chateau eliminates the resort fee that most Strip hotels charge, saving $35 to $50 per night. For groups willing to base in Henderson rather than on the Strip, the Residence Inn by Marriott Las Vegas South/Henderson offers all-suite rooms with kitchens at $110 to $180 per night, reducing lodging costs further while positioning the Serket and Reflection Bay courses within a shorter drive if the itinerary is modified.
