TPC Las Vegas is a PGA TOUR-managed facility in the desert canyons northwest of the Strip, with tournament-standard conditioning and six sets of tees that make it one of the most accessible courses in town for mixed-handicap groups. Bobby Weed and Raymond Floyd completed the design in 1996, and the TPC branding delivers on its promise without the premium pricing that the same brand commands in Scottsdale or Sawgrass.
The canyon setting provides natural elevation changes and visual interest without the extreme target-golf characteristics of courses farther from the city. From the tips at 7,104 yards, the course has genuine length. From the forward tees, it shortens to a manageable distance without losing strategic character. The slope of 128 from the back is moderate for a course of this length, reflecting wide fairways and the absence of forced carries that distinguish it from more punitive desert peers.
Weed and Floyd designed for variety over repetition. The par 3s play to different lengths and directions, ensuring wind affects each one differently. The par 4s range from drivable risk-reward holes to long two-shotters where position off the tee determines difficulty. The par 5s offer real birdie chances if you can shape the ball and manage the desert edges.
Green fees of $279 to $395 in peak season and $175 to $250 off-peak place TPC Las Vegas at the upper end of the Mid-Range tier, where it competes with the lower end of the Premium courses on price. The value rests on the TPC conditioning standard. The practice range, short game area, and overall maintenance justify the premium over less polished courses at similar rates.
Caddies are available on request, which is unusual for a Las Vegas course outside the Bucket List tier. The cart is included. The clubhouse and post-round amenities are clean, professional, and efficient without the opulence of Shadow Creek or Wynn.
Tee times are available through the booking link on this page. The course sits about 20 minutes northwest of the Strip. Peak rates apply February through May and September through November; midweek typically beats weekend. If you want caddies, request them at booking.
For a multi-day Las Vegas itinerary, TPC Las Vegas slots in as the round that delivers tournament-quality conditioning at a price below the premium tier. It pairs naturally with the Paiute courses for three days of golf without repeating a setting.
