The property

The Omni PGA Frisco Resort and Spa sits at the centre of the 660-acre PGA Frisco campus, which puts two championship courses, a lighted par-3 short course, and a 2-acre putting course within walking distance of the lobby. The property opened in 2023 alongside Fields Ranch East and West and was built from the outset as a purpose-built golf resort rather than a hotel that happens to be near a course. The distinction matters. Resort guests get priority booking and preferential rates on both the Gil Hanse and Beau Welling layouts, and the walk from room to first tee needs no car, no shuttle, no planning.

Thirteen restaurants and lounges across the property mean you do not need to leave campus for meals, though the adjacent PGA District adds casual options including the Lounge by Topgolf and the Ice House BBQ beer garden. PGA District programming, from wine walks to movie nights, gives travelling companions something to do while the golfers disappear for five hours.
