For golfers whose primary interest is Ross architecture rather than No. 2 specifically, a stay at Mid Pines with rounds at both Midland Road courses delivers a concentrated Ross experience at a fraction of the resort cost. The five-mile distance from the resort campus is short enough to add a day-trip round at a Pinehurst course if a separate package is arranged.
