Legends is a golf-first property in the most literal sense. The 100 villas exist to serve the three on-site courses (Heathland, Moorland, and Parkland), and the entire operation is structured around stay-and-play packages that bundle accommodation with rounds. Heathland, a Tom Doak design rendered in a links style that is unusual for the South Carolina lowcountry, is the standout of the three and one of the more distinctive layouts in the Myrtle Beach corridor.
The villas line the course corridors, with most overlooking fairways. The finish is simple: clean, functional, and built with enough space for a foursome to cohabitate without friction. Larger units include full kitchens. The pool is the single communal amenity beyond the golf, and it is adequate without being a draw. No spa, no fitness centre, no on-site restaurant of consequence. The spareness is the point. Packages are priced to move volume, and the rates reflect the absence of resort-tier amenities. A three-night, three-round package frequently undercuts the cost of booking rounds and lodging separately at other Myrtle Beach properties.
$90 to $160 per night before package discounts. For groups whose trip is defined entirely by golf, with meals handled at nearby restaurants and evenings spent reviewing scorecards, Legends offers the most efficient path from pillow to first tee in the area.
