The Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort reopened under its new name following a $115 million renovation that repositioned the property from its former Hyatt Regency identity. The investment is visible throughout: 496 rooms including 18 casitas and the standalone Gainey House, 10 pools, and a full-service spa with 19 treatment rooms including a Himalayan Salt Room. Six on-site restaurants eliminate the need to leave the property for meals, though the location on Doubletree Ranch Road places several independent restaurants within a short drive.
The Talking Stick courses sit roughly five miles east, making the Grand Hyatt a practical base for golfers playing the O'odham and Piipaash layouts. Gainey Ranch Golf, adjacent to the resort, provides an immediate option for casual rounds. The 10-pool complex is the most extensive among Scottsdale's non-Five Diamond resorts, and the spa facilities serve as a genuine companion draw for non-golfing travel partners. At $250 to $450, the Grand Hyatt delivers a renovated luxury experience at pricing that sits below the Five Diamond tier while approaching it in facility quality.
