DayRoyal New Kent
The day's round requires a thirty-minute drive west to Providence Forge, and it earns every minute. Mike Strantz's 1997 design was modeled after Irish links courses, with mounding, waste areas, and blind shots that demand trust in the routing.

DayLeisure Day
The fourth day is deliberately unscheduled. Use it for a replay at Kingsmill if the resort offers a complimentary round, or play the Plantation Course ($80 to $150) for a different perspective on the property.

Check out and drive to RIC for departure flights. The sixty- to seventy-five-minute drive runs straightforward on I-64, and afternoon flights allow a relaxed morning.

Kingsmill Resort villas ($250 to $450 per night) are the recommended accommodation for the full four nights. A two-bedroom villa split among a foursome reduces the per-person nightly cost to $125 to $225, which makes the overall trip budget more manageable than the headline rates suggest. A rental car is required at $40 to $55 per day. The best months for this itinerary are April through May and September through October, when all three courses are at peak conditioning and the weather supports comfortable play. Book Kingsmill tee times directly through the resort, Golden Horseshoe through the pro shop, and Royal New Kent through a tee time platform or the course directly.
