Two nights in Naples is enough to play two strong courses, experience the downtown dining scene, and understand why this stretch of Gulf Coast draws golfers back for longer trips. This itinerary pairs the destination's most recognised course with its most walkable resort layout and leaves enough unscheduled time to prevent the weekend from feeling compressed. The estimated cost of $1,500 to $3,500 per person covers two nights of lodging, two rounds, meals, and a rental car.
Arrive at RSW and drive south to Naples. If your flight lands by midday, an afternoon round at Naples Grande Golf Club is achievable and sets the trip in motion immediately.
The Gold Course at Tiburón is the round that defines this trip. Greg Norman's 1998 design has hosted the PGA Tour's QBE Shootout and the LPGA's CME Group Tour Championship, and the course plays on the same routing used during those events.
A rental car is necessary and costs $35 to $65 per day from RSW. Naples Grande Beach Resort is the most convenient single base for this itinerary, as the golf course is on site and Tiburón is a 15-minute drive north. The Inn at Pelican Bay reverses that convenience, sitting 10 minutes from Tiburón with a 15-minute drive to Naples Grande. Either works well. The best months for a long weekend are November through April for weather certainty, though October and May offer lower rates with minimal weather risk. A Friday arrival with a Sunday departure is the natural cadence, with golf on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
