This itinerary collects the four courses that occupy the top tier of Las Vegas golf. Shadow Creek, which consistently ranks among the top 25 courses in the country, anchors the trip. Wynn Golf Club provides the only on-Strip course in existence.
Fly into Harry Reid International Airport, a 10-to-15-minute transfer to the Strip. Check into the Wynn Las Vegas, which places the first round within the property itself.
Shadow Creek is the centrepiece of this itinerary and requires specific logistics. The course is accessible only to guests of MGM Resorts properties, with tee times available Monday through Thursday.
Check out of the Wynn and into the Bellagio, which serves as the base for the final two nights. Drive 30 minutes southeast to Boulder City for the morning round at Cascata Golf Club.
Drive 20 minutes southeast to Henderson for the final round at Serket Golf Club, the former Rio Secco. The Rees Jones desert-canyon layout plays through arroyos and dramatic elevation changes at 7,332 yards from the tips.
Check out of the Bellagio and return to Harry Reid International, a 10-to-15-minute drive. The airport's proximity to the Strip means that morning flights are feasible even after a late final evening.
The two-hotel approach splits the trip between the Wynn for the first two nights, which provides on-property access to Wynn Golf Club and proximity to the Shadow Creek limousine pickup, and the Bellagio for the final two nights, which positions the Cascata and Serket drives from the southern Strip. A rental car is necessary for the Cascata and Serket days but not for the first two. Shadow Creek requires an MGM Resorts hotel stay for booking eligibility; the Bellagio qualifies, so booking the Shadow Creek tee time through the Bellagio concierge after the hotel transfer on Day 3 is also an option if the logistics of playing Shadow Creek on Day 2 while staying at the Wynn present a booking complication. Peak season for Las Vegas golf is March through April and October, when temperatures sit in the 70s and 80s and course conditions are at their best.
